ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Planning
• Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with the organization’s communication and advocacy objectives.
• Maintain a social media content calendar ensuring consistent, timely, and strategic posting.
• Increase engagement and visibility by using the provided means, while cooperating project staff.
Content creation and Management:
• Create, edit, and publish engaging multimedia content (photos, videos, stories, infographics, articles) highlighting the project implementation and activities.
• Collaborate with project team to collect authentic stories, testimonials, and visual materials from beneficiaries and communities.
• Ensure that all content adheres to ethical communication standards and brand guidelines.
• Manage and update all official social media accounts and platforms.
Community Engagement and Advocacy
• Engage with followers and partners by responding to comments, messages, and tags in a timely and professional manner.
• Build and nurture online communities around the NGO’s campaign by support advocacy and awareness initiatives and creating an impactful digital campaign.
• Collaborate with partner organizations, when possible, to amplify the NGO’s messages
Monitoring Evaluation and Reporting:
• Track key social media metrics (reach, engagement, impressions, growth) and generate a final analytical report.
• Evaluate the performance of campaign and recommend improvements for future campaigns based on data insights.
• Provide feedback to the communications team.
Ethical and Compliance Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all social media materials comply with ethical communication guidelines, including safeguarding, consent, and data protection.
• Follow copyright regulations and donor visibility requirements.
• Protect the dignity, identity, and privacy of beneficiaries in all shared content.
