Projects Manager

Based in our Beirut and Saida offices, the Project Manager will be responsible for the entire project cycle, from planning and budget management to monitoring, reporting, and external representation. This role includes the supervision of a team of Officers and Assistants.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Implementation & Management
Develop and execute clear project implementation plans.
Guide day-to-day project activities, ensuring quality and adherence to project frameworks.
Manage project budgets, including expenditure planning and monitoring, in compliance with donor and organizational guidelines.
Oversee operational processes such as outreach and procurement.
Integrate risk management and contingency planning throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure all donor contractual obligations are met.

2. Project Reporting & Communication
Assume ultimate responsibility for the timely and quality submission of narrative and financial donor reports.
Coordinate data collection for reporting and monitoring, in collaboration with the MEAL team.
Ensure project visibility in line with organizational and donor standards.
Communicate regularly with the Executive Director and submit internal reports as required.
Document project success stories, challenges, and lessons learned.

3. Field Supervision & Team Leadership
Lead the design and implementation of needs assessments and outreach campaigns.
Conduct regular field visits to project sites and activities.
Establish and maintain effective internal communication with project staff.
Conduct regular team meetings and provide capacity building as needed.
4. External Representation & Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for donors and partners.
Coordinate with municipalities, local authorities, government departments, and community leaders.
Represent The Lee Experience at national-level coordination meetings, working groups, and relevant events.
Engage in bilateral coordination with other actors to avoid duplication and identify gaps.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Humanitarian Studies, Business Administration, or a related field, Post Graduate is priority.
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in NGO project management, preferably in development, livelihood, humanitarian, or peacebuilding sectors.
Demonstrable experience managing projects from multiple donors; experience with world bank is prioirty
Proven expertise in narrative/financial reporting and complex budget management.
Strong leadership, team management, and capacity-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken). French is an asset.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
