Digital Learning Focal Point

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical support to teachers and staff in using digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Assist in integrating technology into lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Train and guide teachers on best practices for digital learning methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to digital learning tools.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives, providing feedback for improvement.
  • Support students in using online learning resources and ensuring accessibility.
  • Maintain the functionality and security of digital tools and ensure proper data management.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement technology-driven learning strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and digital safety protocols.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, routers, firewalls, switches, and internet connectivity.
  • Ensure the reliable performance of IT systems and backup solutions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and cybersecurity basics.
  • Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk) is an asset.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Commitment to data privacy and security principles
