Objective
The overall objective of this consultancy is to support the "Study on Gender-Based Violence Online in Syria" by:
- Identifying and engaging key stakeholders (e.g. media outlets, CSO representatives, policymakers, community leaders) to participate in project-related discussions and events.
- Developing and implementing a dissemination strategy to effectively communicate the research findings to relevant audiences in Syria.
- Scope of Work
The selected organisation will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Collaboration: Work closely with the research organisation to understand the research findings and tailor the dissemination strategy and materials accordingly.
- Stakeholder identification: Develop a comprehensive list of key stakeholders relevant to GBVO in Syria, including media outlets, journalists, civil society organisations, women's rights advocates, digital security experts, government representatives, community leaders, and regional/international organisations.
- Stakeholder engagement: Develop and implement a plan for engaging stakeholders in project-related discussions and events, ensuring their participation is meaningful and inclusive.
- Dissemination strategy: Develop a clear dissemination strategy outlining the target audiences, dissemination channels, and key messages, considering the specific needs and preferences of each target group.
- Dissemination materials: Develop or adapt accessible and culturally appropriate dissemination materials (e.g. summaries, infographics, presentations) tailored to different audiences.
- Dissemination activities: Coordinate and implement dissemination activities, such as online webinars, social media campaigns, community events, and presentations.
- Deliverables
- Stakeholder list: A list of key stakeholders relevant to GBVO in Syria, including contact information and a brief description of their roles and responsibilities.
- Stakeholder engagement plan: A plan outlining the strategies and activities for engaging stakeholders in project-related discussions and events.
- Dissemination strategy: A clear dissemination strategy outlining the target audiences, dissemination channels, and key messages.
- Dissemination materials: Accessible and culturally appropriate dissemination materials (e.g. summaries, infographics, presentations) tailored to different audiences.
- Report on dissemination activities: A report summarising the dissemination activities, including the reach and impact of the dissemination efforts.

How to Apply
Interested organisations are invited to submit a proposal (maximum length: 3 pages) that includes:
- A cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience.
- A brief statement (no more than 200 words) outlining their understanding of the key challenges and opportunities for stakeholder engagement and dissemination related to GBVO in Syria.
- A budget inclusive of all costs (e.g. consultant fees, travel expenses, materials development, communication costs) in EUR.
- CVs of the key team members who will be involved in the project.
