Consultant Psychologist – Sanabel Palliative Care

About Sanabel Palliative Care:
Sanabel Palliative Care, an initiative of Sanabel Nour Organization, provides holistic and compassionate care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families in North Lebanon. The multidisciplinary team offers medical, psychosocial, and spiritual support to improve patients’ quality of life and uphold dignity throughout the care continuum.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide regular consultation sessions to the multidisciplinary palliative care team.

· Offer expert guidance on psychological assessment, treatment planning, and intervention strategies.

· Support the team in managing complex emotional and behavioral issues among patients and caregivers.

· Contribute to developing and implementing psychosocial care protocols.

· Provide capacity-building sessions or case discussions to strengthen staff competencies in mental health support.

· Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards in all consultations and interventions.

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in palliative care, oncology, non-communicable disease or geriatric settings.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

· Fluency in Arabic; English or French is an asset.
