Naya is Bedayati’s social catering arm. Naya provides paid catering services, where with every meal purchased from the Naya Kitchen we provide a meal for free.

About this Role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to strategically identify business opportunities, creating multiple revenue streams that will expand the market reach of the Bedayati and Naya brands. The ideal candidate will design and implement a high-impact sales and marketing strategy, building and managing programs with commercial customers, potential donors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading Bedayati’s business development strategy. The BD Manager will report to the Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Overall: 

Naya

• Support Naya’s Culinary Manager to create a comprehensive kitchen/catering offering to cater to all defined target groups and segments via various delivery channels.
• Work with the culinary manager to redefine the Naya brand and its positioning and participate in the development of all packaging and collateral marketing material.
• Develop a promotional campaign to create awareness for the brand and its positioning.
• Assist in the development of a marketing campaign and customer outreach initiative to expand the Naya client base.
• Engage with business leaders across Lebanon to create awareness for Naya & Bedayati.
• Design an email marketing program to engage with current stakeholders and expand the customer target base.

Skills Training                                                                                                             

• Review course offering and assess vis-a-vis market needs.
• Identify new subjects, disciplines, and skill sets that are in demand by local employers.
• Participate with the program manager to create a new calendar of workshops and training seminars.
• Look at ways to promote and monetize the newly created LMS initiative.
• Develop a strategy to engage with potential employers to present them with Bedayati’s graduates and secure internships and jobs for them.

Fundraising

• Work with the board to set a fundraising budget for Bedayati and a related activity programme.
• Develop a donor engagement strategy and event concepts for fundraising and sponsorship opportunities.
• Create a multi-platform outreach program to keep various stakeholders engaged with Bedayati’s mission and various programs.
• Ensure that Bedayati’s core values and guidelines are effectively reflected in all project activities.

Required Education, Skills & Experience

• A university degree or equivalent in business or marketing;
• At least three or more years of experience in executive leadership roles, with a preference for candidates with an F&B background;
• Strong project management skills, with a solid background in marketing, sales, and finance;
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a strong work ethic, a commitment to work excellence, and adherence to Bedayati core values;
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision;
• Excellent written and oral Arabic and English skills. Knowledge of French is an asset.
