Law Firm (Based in Syria) Tender

Peace of Art Organization, a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting social development through arts, education, and community engagement, is seeking to contract a qualified and registered law firm based in Syria to provide comprehensive legal services and representation.

1. Scope of Services

The selected law firm will be expected to:

• Provide legal consultation and advice on matters related to Peace of Art’s operations, partnerships, and projects in Syria.
• Review, draft, and verify contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure organizational compliance with Syrian laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Represent the organization before governmental and judicial bodies when required.
• Support in legal risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

2. Eligibility Criteria

Interested law firms must meet the following requirements:

• Be a legally registered law firm authorized to operate in Syria.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably with NGOs, INGOs, or development organizations.
• Have expertise in civil, labor, contractual, and organizational law.
• Maintain the capacity to provide legal support in both Arabic and English.
• Possess strong communication and advisory skills, ensuring timely and professional support.

   

3. Required Documents

Applicants are requested to submit the following:

1. Company profile and valid registration documents.
2. List of relevant experience, clients, and references.
3. CVs of key legal advisors and partners who will be assigned to the engagement.

Detailed financial proposal, including service fees, billing terms, and payment structure.

4. Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:

• Compliance with eligibility and submission requirements.
• Relevant experience and qualifications.
• Quality and comprehensiveness of the proposed services.
• Cost-effectiveness and value for money.
