Shelter WASH Technical Enumerator - Bebnine

1. Role and responsibilities

The Shelter and WASH technical enumerator is responsible for assisting in the day to day supervision of shelter and WASH activities, through carrying out quality technical assessments and technical follow-up, conducting eligibility and vulnerability assessments, and submitting daily reports.

2. Generic responsibilities

• Monitor and report on the rehabilitation activities and ensure compliance with plans and NRC standards
• Ensure minimum Shelter and WASH standards are applied and maintained in shelters rehabilitation and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure proper documentation of the progress reports by updating tracking data sheets and uploading related pictures.
• Report all shelter and WASH technical related concerns
• Carry out data collection as required
• Prepare and file relevant documents according to procedures
• Carries out related mainstreaming of protection in program daily implementation as per the set of NRC's Protection mainstreaming guidelines, and ensures reporting any breaches/concerns.
• Produce accurate drawings, reports, measurements (BoQs) and/or photographs as evidence of a technical assessment
• Act responsibly and communicate respectfully with home owners to give a clear and accurate picture of the households' past, current and future situation

3. Generic professional competencies:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Architecture or other relevant engineering degree
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in construction companies, NGO, or any related construction domain
• Knowledge of the NGO operations and dynamics of the humanitarian sector
• Preferably from Bebnine Akkar area
• Knowledge of CAD programs and computer based drawings
