Social Worker (Community Outreach)

• Conduct thorough case studies, interviews, and comprehensive assessments to evaluate the social, emotional, and economic needs of individuals, families, and communities.
• Organize and facilitate focus group discussions to gather community insights and identify common issues.
• Provide direct psychosocial first aid and support to individuals and groups, helping them cope with emotional and psychological challenges.
• Assess beneficiaries' needs and make appropriate, timely referrals to relevant services (health, legal, educational, etc.). Follow up with stakeholders to ensure access.
• Lead the outreach team, ensuring data collected in the field is clean, accurate, and free from duplication.
• Maintain, organize and update beneficiaries databases.
• Collaborate with local authorities and community partners to organize access to target communities for assessments and follow-up activities.
• Advocate for individuals and communities to ensure they receive necessary support. Attend meetings and maintain detailed records, promptly reporting identified needs and problems to the coordinator.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in community outreach, case management, and psychosocial support within an NGO or similar setting.
• Experience working across different cultural contexts and locations in Lebanon is highly desirable.
• Computer literacy for reporting and data management.
