RDFL_facilitator for round table

The facilitator will support RDFL in conducting an effective, inclusive, and action-oriented roundtable discussion among ISF representatives, municipality officials, and NGOs to advocate for the activation of a unified GBV reporting mechanism and the issuance of a ministerial decree expanding the role of the municipal police.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Review RDFL’s background documents and advocacy framework prior to the event.
• Support RDFL in finalizing the agenda and discussion questions.
• Facilitate the roundtable discussions in a neutral and professional manner, ensuring equal participation.
• Encourage constructive dialogue and guide participants toward practical recommendations.
• Summarize and validate key discussion points, agreements, and next steps.
• Capability to Convince the municipalities to adopt the mechanism and accept to pilot the process to respond to GBV cases in the targeted area
• Contribute to the preparation of a short post-event summary report in collaboration with RDFL project manager

3. Deliverables

• Pre-event briefing with RDFL team.
• Effective moderation of the roundtable event.
• Documentation of main discussion highlights and recommendations (1–2 pages).

4. Qualifications

• Proven experience facilitating policy or advocacy events, particularly in GBV, protection, or human rights.
• Strong communication and moderation skills in Arabic (English/French desirable).
• Ability to manage diverse groups and ensure inclusive participation.
• Strong understanding of Lebanon’s governance and protection systems.

5. Duration and Payment

• 1 working day (including preparation and facilitation).
• Payment will be made upon completion of facilitation and submission of the summary report.
