Objective of the job:
• Plan and deliver effective teaching sessions for ECE children, including vulnerable and host community children, using a variety of child-centered methodologies such as demonstrations, discussions, creative play, and hands-on activities.
• Teach foundational academic skills in Arabic and English/French (alphabet, letter recognition, numeracy, early reading and writing).
• Design and lead structured play-based learning activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
• Attend and actively participate in all mandatory trainings organized by HAND or its partners to ensure continuous professional development.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment, applying a holistic approach that supports children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual wellbeing.
• Apply positive discipline techniques in the classroom to promote respectful and supportive behavior management.
• Conduct pre-, post-, and periodic assessments to monitor children's learning progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Plan individualized support for children based on their educational needs, abilities, and developmental levels.
• Supervise children during arrival, departure, and break times to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
• Engage with parents and caregivers, when required, to support children’s learning and development.
• Maintain accurate classroom records, attendance sheets, and documentation as per organizational requirements.
• Conduct SEL activities to support children’s emotional regulation, positive behavior, and social interactive learning.
