Social Media & Content Creation
- Develop and oversee the organization’s social media and digital communication strategy to enhance visibility, community engagement, and brand consistency.
- Manage content creation processes, including the development of posts, videos, stories, and graphics that align with Nusaned’s goals and values.
- Supervise and guide content collection from field teams, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and representation of community voices.
- Approve visual materials, communication products, and campaign content to ensure alignment with communication standards and donor requirements.
- Maintain and manage a comprehensive monthly content calendar reflecting organizational priorities, project timelines, and communication objectives.
- Ensure compliance with ethical communication standards, informed consent, and “Do No Harm” principles.
Community Engagement & AAP/Safeguarding Support
- Oversee community interaction across all digital platforms, ensuring that messages, comments, and inquiries are addressed promptly, respectfully, and professionally.
- Manage the digital feedback and complaints system, ensuring that all entries are logged, categorized, and forwarded to the relevant teams in line with Nusaned’s AAP and Safeguarding protocols.
- Coordinate directly with the Safeguarding/PSEA Focal Point to ensure sensitive complaints are documented securely and processed through appropriate channels.
- Analyze trends in community sentiment, identify key concerns, and recommend improvements in communication or program delivery.
- Strengthen online community-building initiatives, promoting positive engagement and accurate representation of Nusaned's work.
Reporting & Analytic
- Track digital engagement metrics and prepare monthly analytics reports with insights and recommendations for improving reach, visibility, and audience interaction.
- Lead the development of communication sections within monthly, quarterly, and donor-specific reports.
- Oversee the documentation of success stories, testimonials, and field highlights for advocacy, fundraising, and visibility purposes.
- Present communication performance and recommendations to management when needed.
Communication & Coordination
- Collaborate with PDQ, Programs, MEAL, People & Culture, and Field teams to ensure communications reflect accurate data and up-to-date information.
- Support and coordinate awareness campaigns, ensuring that messaging is accessible, ethical, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Represent the Communications Unit in internal meetings and leads on the planning of public events, media interactions, and visibility activities of the organization.
- Ensure brand consistency across all departments and communication materials.
General Responsibilities
- Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and responsible data handling, especially when managing content from vulnerable communities.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by senior management.

Collaborates and Works with: PDQ Manager, Department Heads, People & Culture, Project Managers, MEAL, field officers, safeguarding & AAP focal point, and volunteers
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Social Sciences, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in social media management, digital communications, or related fields.
- Experience within NGOs or humanitarian organizations is strongly preferred.
- Strong content creation abilities (visual and written), with attention to accuracy and storytelling.
- Knowledge in graphic design is a strong plus (Canva required; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Arabic and English (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical skills for reading insights and translating data into recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize under pressure, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with AAP, PSEA, ethical communication, and informed consent procedures is an asset.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
