Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Technical Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day implementation of cash-based assistance activities according to work plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct beneficiary registration, verification, and validation for cash distribution under the supervision of the officer.
- Screening of benefeciary on site during the distribution/validation cycles
- Observe and report field conditions, beneficiary feedback, and potential risks or irregularities to the Officer
- Facilitate the distribution/validation sites
- Monitoring Cash redemption both MTO/ATM in the designated areas
- Carry out outreach calls or household visits to inform beneficiaries, confirm receipt of assistance, or address redemption challenges.
- Follow up calls as per the Donor request
- Support field-level logistics and coordination during distributions and other field activities.
- Staff Management:
- Supervise and support casual(s) in their day-to-day activities.
- Ensures casual staff managed remain compliant with internal controls
- Seek opportunities for capacity building of casuals with support of line manager
- Quality Management/Work:
- Assist in activities to uphold a high standard of work quality. Utilize quality management tools and systems.
- Adhere to internal and external process service requirements
- Security, Safeguarding, and Preventing Fraud and Corruption:
- Understand that safety and security at Medair is everyone's responsibility.
- Understand and comply with all policies and security procedures.
- Report any suspected breaches of Medair’s Code of Conduct in a timely manner

Person Specification:
- High school or bachelor’s degree in the related field
- At least 1 year of related experience with an I/NGO (working with communities in humanitarian or development contexts, in particular with displaced or refugee populations)
- Strong working knowledge of written and spoken Arabic. Basic knowledge of English.
- Ability to use Office 365 Suite, ability to use mobile data collection
- Computer literate: intermediate skills with Word and Excel
- Passionate about serving the poor
- Self-motivated/Enthusiasm
- Capacity to work under pressure and manage personal stress levels
- Ability to adapt communication strategies for different situations
- Flexible and willing to perform other relevant tasks in order to facilitate the running of the project
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to prioritise and time manage
- Able to present clear and accurate data
