Recreational Facilitator

Job Summary

1. Scope of Work

To design and deliver recreational activities (sports, art, music, games, group competitions) that support children's wellbeing, teamwork, confidence, and psychosocial health.

2. Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Plan structured recreational sessions appropriate to age and ability.
• Use creative arts, sports, movement, and group engagement methods.
• Ensure all activities are safe, inclusive, and engaging.
• Facilitate sessions for children and youth with positive energy.
• Encourage teamwork, participation, and respect among participants.
• Adapt activities for children with different abilities.
• Track attendance, engagement, and behavioral improvements.
• Report any concerns to the Center Supervisor.
• Work with teachers to integrate recreation with learning goals.
• Participate in CP, PSEA, and PSS trainings.
• Background in Physical Education, Art, Social Work, or related experience.
• Experience in group facilitation, sports, or arts activities.
• Creative, energetic, and good with children.
• Any additional tasks requested by the supervisor.

3. Qualifications
