Digital Marketing Trainer - Baalbek

Main Responsibilities of the Position:

Under the overall supervision and guidance of the Community Centre Admin Assistant in Baalbek, the trainer will design and deliver a 112-hours training program over three days (approximately 3.5 hours per day) focused on marketing jewelry and accessories, polymer clay crafts, beadwork, and decorative fabrics. The training will be conducted for a group of 25 women from diverse nationalities, many of whom have low literacy levels. By the end of the program, participants will have acquired foundational digital marketing skills to support their pursuit of self-employment opportunities.

Training topics include:

1.Introduction to Marketing 

  • What is marketing and why it matters.
  • Difference between traditional and digital marketing.

2.Social Media Fundamentals

  • Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram basics.
  • Setting up and managing profiles or pages.
  • Hands-on posting exercises.

3.Content Creation Basics

  • Rich content practices: text, images, and videos.
  • Using easy, free tools like the Canva mobile application.
  • Practice designing a simple flyer or social post.

4.Introduction to Online Advertising

  • Paid vs. free promotion.
  • Boosting posts on Facebook and using WhatsApp Business features.
  • Setting a basic budget and targeting local audiences.

5.Building a Marketing Plan

  • Identifying target customers.
  • Setting simple goals (e.g., increasing sales or followers).
  • Planning basic marketing activities.

6.Measuring Success and Basic Analytics

  • Understanding basic engagement metrics.
  • Tracking and adjusting based on results.

Expected Deliverables

1-Before the start of the training:

-The training calendar with session titles.

-Samples of training books/material for distribution.

-A Curriculum handout organized by training sessions describing:

  • Session topic.
  • List of key contents and talking points.
  • The pre- and post-training test questionnaires, to verify level, competences, and learning. The tests should be the same and they are delivered before the start date of the training and after the last session.

2-During the Training:

- Maintain a record of the participants' progress and attendance.

- Accompany participants in the development of their career plans.

3-After the end of the training:

- Provide a report on the participants’ feedback, lessons learnt and remarks.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of demonstrated experience in digital marketing.
  • Previous experience in training and coaching is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
