About Diyaruna: 

Diyaruna is an NGO founded in 2015 that targets young men, women, and their community. The association works to preserve cultural heritage, promote cultural exchange, and empower the role of youth and women in society.

Background: 

In collaboration with the Stichting Vluchteling (SV), and with the support of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Diyaruna is implementing its "Salamatna project", which aims to integrate young men and women, boys and girls, into the environment of Burj Al Shamali camp, by enhancing their involvement in collective action and participatory initiatives. The project also focuses on providing psychosocial support to enhance community cohesion and build a safe and supportive environment.

The project is implemented over  a period of 36 months and targets multiple groups including youth, children, adolescents, parents, as well as the community surrounding the camp, through participatory activities and programs aimed at enhancing protection, capacity building, and supporting the mental and social health of beneficiaries.

  • The selected consultants are expected to begin their assignment on January 19, 2026. Diyarona will retain the exclusive copyright of the training materials after the assignment is completed. 

 

Diyarouna has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of sexual harassment, exploitation or abuse, and any violation of this policy will result in the immediate termination of the contract. Selected consultants are expected to sign this policy.
