Psychologist

The Psychologist provides psychological assessments, counseling, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals across the lifespan. The role supports emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being through individualized care, family involvement when appropriate, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological, developmental, and behavioral assessments using appropriate standardized tools and clinical interviews.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions responsive to patients’ needs and cultural context
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support early identification and intervention for mental health, emotional, and psychosocial challenges.
• Deliver psychoeducation to patients, families, and community members on mental health, coping strategies, and resilience.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safeguarding support in accordance with organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical documentation aligned with ethical standards, donor requirements, and legal regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and program planning activities.
• Contribute to community outreach, mental health promotion, prevention, and awareness initiatives.
• Support capacity-building activities, including training and guidance for staff, volunteers, or community partners as needed.
• Uphold the organization’s mission, values, safeguarding principles, and ethical standards.
