Capitalization process of the project “Weaving Social Peace in Zahle and Western Bekaa through COA

Threads of Peace (HOPe), in partnership with Secours Catholique – Caritas France (SCCF), is seeking a consultant or a small team to lead an ongoing capitalization process for the project “Weaving Social Peace in Zahle and Western Bekaa through Change-Oriented Approaches (COA)”, co-financed by the European Union and SCCF.

The capitalization aims to document, analyze, and generate learning around the changes observed at both organizational level (HOPe) and community level, focusing on how Change-Oriented Approaches contribute to social cohesion and peacebuilding. This consultancy is not an evaluation, but a continuous learning and knowledge-production process.

Scope of the consultancy:

Capitalization of project activities implemented between May 2025 and April 2028

Geographic focus: Beirut, Zahle, and Western Bekaa

Key components: community workshops, citizen initiatives, community center, social cohesion events, and digital campaigns (including a podcast)

Duration:

Estimated at 36 working days, spread between March 2026 and April 2028

Expected profile:

Proven experience in capitalization, knowledge management, or learning-oriented assessments

Strong background in peacebuilding, social cohesion, or local development

Solid understanding of Lebanese social and political dynamics

Experience in participatory and conflict-sensitive approaches

Proficiency in English and Arabic (French is an asset)
