In response, ADJI will implement a 12-month integrated Health and Nutrition project targeting 10,800 vulnerable people in Akkar and Wadi Khaled. Delivered through the MoPH-affiliated Al a aransa PHCC under the LPSP, the project is fully aligned with national systems and the 2025 LHF and HRP priorities, maintaining a 60% Lebanese and 40% Syrian beneficiary balance.
The intervention will provide around 20,000 subsidized consultations covering primary care, SRH, MHPSS, diagnostics, vaccination, and essential medicines, alongside specialized support for 400 persons with disabilities and older persons. The nutrition component focuses on early detection and prevention of malnutrition among young children and pregnant or breastfeeding women through screening, supplementation, and IYCF counselling, supported by community outreach.
Cross-cutting principles of inclusion, PSEA, and accountability are integrated throughout, with robust monitoring via PHENICS and Activity Info. Overall, the project aims to reduce preventable morbidity and mortality, improve resilience, and strengthen local health-system capacity in one of Lebanon’s most underserved border areas.

Project Implementation Needs:
To facilitate the movement of the project team during the 12-month period starting from January 1, 2026, ADJI requires continuous use of an SUV. The preferred vehicle is a KIA Sportage 2023 or Mitsubishi ASX 2023 or an equivalent model.
