OVERVIEW
Between 25 October and 30 December 2025, DTM eld teams reported that an estimated 64,890 individuals were displaced from locations across the Kordofan region, including from locations in North Kordofan (42,780), South Kordofan (21,860), and West Kordofan (250). Displacement followed increased insecurity and clashes between RSF and SAF across the region.
DTM reported 56 different incidents triggering displacement across 18 localities in the region since the escalation starting on 25 October 2025. Incidents were reported across North Kordofan (17), South Kordofan (38), and West Kordofan (1). Of the 56 incidents, 54 incidents were related to conflict or heightened insecurity. Two incidents were due to reported res: a re in Ghubaish locality, West Kordofan reportedly displaced approximately 250 individuals on 8 November 2025, and another re in Abu Jubayhah locality, South Kordofan displaced 285 individuals on 25 December 2025.
