Call for Auditors: Proposal for the Independent Financial, Compliance, and Performance Audit of the ASPIRE-VP Project (FY 2025)

This assignment concerns the appointment of an independent external audit firm to conduct a combined financial, compliance, and performance audit of the ASPIRE-VP project implemented by Alfanar under the Regional Development and Protection Programme (RDPP III), funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

The audit aims to provide assurance to the donor on the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the project’s financial statements, while also assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and sound financial management of systems and processes used in administering the grant.

In addition to meeting donor assurance requirements, the audit is intended to provide Alfanar with constructive, risk-based observations and recommendations to strengthen internal controls, financial capacity, and operational processes.

The assignment requires adherence to internationally recognized auditing standards (ISAs and ISSAIs), a high level of professional judgment, and close coordination with Alfanar and relevant donors to ensure timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
