Key Responsibilities
Field Assessments & Implementation
Conduct and lead initial and ongoing WASH needs assessments in targeted municipalities and communities.
Support and supervise WASH construction and rehabilitation works with attention to electrical components.
Coordinate with contractors and technical teams during field implementation.
Ensure materials, workmanship, and deliveries meet project and organizational standards.
Monitoring, Reporting & Office Duties
Develop and maintain tracking tools (Gantt charts, dashboards) to monitor outputs, budgets, and timelines.
Prepare weekly field updates and monthly progress reports for the Project Coordinator.
Support updates to activity plans, procurement schedules, and risk registers based on field findings.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and safety standards.
Conduct regular site monitoring visits to verify quality and adherence to approved plans.
Team Support & Coordination
Provide technical support to field staff and contractors as needed.
Coordinate with local authorities, partners, and community representatives during implementation.
Risk Management & Adaptation
Identify operational, logistical, and safety risks and support mitigation actions.
Adapt implementation plans in coordination with the Project Coordinator based on evolving field conditions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field-based WASH or infrastructure projects, preferably in humanitarian settings.
- Experience in preparing technical drawings and BoQs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.
- Strong reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
