Return to Learning (RtL) Programs:

Used in early phases of humanitarian response combines literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning through play-based activities.

Arts, Music, and Drama:

Foster creativity, expression, and emotional healing.

Helps children process trauma and build resilience.

Games and Sports:

Promote teamwork, physical health, and stress relief.

Can be structured to teach life skills and conflict resolution.

Storytelling and Role Play:

Builds language skills and empathy.

Encourages children to explore identity and community values.

Communication and Conflict Resolution:

Activities that teach listening, empathy, and peaceful problem-solving.

Self-awareness and Emotional Regulation:

Exercises that help children identify and manage emotions.

Civic Engagement and Rights Education:

Introduces concepts of human rights, responsibilities, and participation.

 

Develop Age-Appropriate Activity Packs

Ages 6–15:

Emphasize literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Prepare for reintegration into formal education or vocational pathways

 

Main Responsibilities:

Facilitating learning and development

Fostering positive relationships

Assessing and monitoring progress

Providing instructional support

Establishing and enforcing rules of behavior for students in the classroom

Preparing lessons, units and projects to complete learning objectives

Establishing and communicating clear objectives for lessons, units and projects

Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students

Encouraging students to explore learning opportunities and career paths

Creating, assigning and grading various assessments for students, including assessments

Working with students one-on-one when they need extra help or attention

Tracking and evaluating student academic progress

Leading parent-teacher meetings

Maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, coworkers and supervisors

Managing student behavior

Creating a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environment

Communicating regularly with parents

Helping students improve study methods and habits

Administering all kinds of assessments to evaluate students’ progress

Responsible for the individual plan upon need

Responsible for developing materials/activities tailored to Children with disabilities.

Willing to attend trainings as required by the project.

Attend Education coordination meetings as required.
