Consultant for Online Training on Evaluation Techniques

As part of our commitment to strengthening the capacity of partner organizations in Feminist Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), and in-line with our Feminist MEAL Course that is open-source, Kvinna till Kvinna is seeking a consultant to deliver an online training on a range of evaluation techniques to a group of 6–10 participants. The training will cover general evaluation methods and specific approaches including but not limited to outcome harvesting and most significant change. 

2. Objectives of the Consultancy 
The consultant will: 

  • Design and deliver an interactive online training on evaluation techniques tailored to the needs of partner organizations. 
  • Provide practical examples and exercises that allow participants to apply the techniques in their work. 
  • Support participants in understanding how to integrate these approaches into their organizational evaluation processes. 

3. Scope of Work 
The consultant will: 

  • Develop a training agenda and materials covering a set of evaluation techniques. 
  • Deliver the training online, either in one full day or two half-day sessions, ensuring engagement and interactivity. 
  • Facilitate discussions and exercises to allow participants to practice applying the techniques. 
  • Provide guidance on adapting evaluation methods to organizational contexts, including gender-sensitive and feminist approaches. 
  • Submit a brief training report summarizing key discussions, outcomes, and participant feedback. 

4. Deliverables 

  • Training agenda and materials, including slides, handouts, and exercises. 
  • Online delivery of training to 6–10 participants. 
  • Summary report of the training, including participant feedback and recommendations for follow-up. 

5. Timeline 

  • The consultancy will be implemented in mid-late March 2026. 
  • Exact dates and session duration (full day vs. two half-days) will be agreed in coordination with The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation. 

6. Required Qualifications 
The ideal consultant should have: 

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training on evaluation techniques. 
  • Familiarity with feminist and rights-based approaches to evaluation. 
  • Experience facilitating online training for small groups (6–10 participants). 
  • Strong communication and interactive teaching skills.
