Job Description – Social Worker

The Social Worker will be responsible for supporting Stouh Beirut’s social and humanitarian programs by assessing beneficiaries’ needs, following up on cases, and coordinating with the team and partners to ensure effective assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct social assessments and follow up on individual and family cases

Identify needs and recommend appropriate support and referrals

Coordinate with internal teams, volunteers, and partner organizations

Maintain accurate case files and prepare regular reports

Participate in field visits and program activities

Ensure confidentiality and respect ethical social work standards

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field

Previous experience in social or humanitarian work (NGOs preferred)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

High sense of responsibility, empathy, and professionalism
