Web Developer

ACRLI is seeking an experienced Web Developer / Software Engineer to renovate and upgrade the existing website’s software and database, including the secure migration of existing data. The assignment focuses on improving backend architecture, database structure, performance, and security while preserving current content, functionalities, and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a technical assessment of the existing website software, database, and data structure
• Refactor, optimize, and upgrade backend code and database architecture
• Plan and execute secure migration of existing data with minimal downtime
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness throughout the migration process
• Improve database performance, structure, and security
• Ensure compatibility with current web standards and technologies
• Implement security and data protection best practices
• Ensure continuity of services during software upgrades and data migration
• Provide technical documentation and handover upon completion

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in web development, software renovation, and database management
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend technologies (PHP, Python, Node.js)
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and data migration
• Knowledge of web security, responsive design, and performance optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
