Junior Field Support Officer Position

The Junior Field Support Officer will work closely with the Project Coordinator, the MEAL Specialist and relevant team members to ensure high-quality implementation, monitoring, and reporting of multiple programs and components aimed at empowering underserved communities, particularly youth.

The role combines project implementation, coordination, and outreach responsibilities with data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting duties, ensuring compliance with INJAZ Lebanon’s Program Implementation Standards (PIS) and donors’ requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Community Partners & Youth Outreach

    • Support youth outreach activities in line with approved targets and inclusion principles.
    • Assist in identifying, engaging, and coordinating with community partners and stakeholders (schools, universities, NGOs, municipalities, community centers).
    • Maintain effective communication and coordination with partners throughout the project cycle.
    • Support participant registration, follow-up, and data verification.
    • Conduct program presentations and support the preparation of simplified program content and outlines when required.

    Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting (M&E)

    • Collect quantitative and qualitative data for all implemented activities (pre/post tests, attendance sheets, photos, testimonials, trainers’ feedback, etc.).
    • Support the implementation of project MEAL plans and tools in coordination with the MEAL Specialist
    • Ensure accurate data entry and regular updating of databases, reporting sheets, and tracking tools. Monitor progress against approved targets and indicators, and flag implementation challenges or risks.
    • Prepare activity-based reports including: objectives, participant profiles, content covered, attendance, challenges, successes, lessons learned, and recommendations.
    • Support internal and donor reporting requirements by providing timely, accurate, and well-organized M&E data.

    Program Implementation & Quality Assurance

    • Ensure that INJAZ Lebanon programs are delivered according to Program Implementation Standards (PIS) and donor requirements.
    • Coordinate with implementing partners, municipalities, schools, universities, community centers, trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and high-quality implementation.
    • Organize and coordinate project activities and sessions with all involved parties.
    • Attend and support implementation sessions to monitor quality and adherence to standards.
    • Collect, organize, and archive all required project documentation, including but not limited to MOUs, agreements, NDAs, codes of conduct, attendance sheets, evaluation tools, and testimonials.
    • Maintain and regularly update implementation schedules and tracking tools.
    • Assist in trainers’ coordination and management, ensuring strong working relationships and continuous feedback.

    Logistics & Administrative Support

    • Coordinate daily logistical needs, including catering, transportation, venues, and materials.
    • Ensure training and delivery spaces are well equipped and ready for implementation.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers in the assigned regions.
    • Collect invoices and receipts from suppliers and submit them to the finance department according to internal procedures.
    • Ensure availability of all program materials and coordinate printing needs with the Project Coordinator.

    Other Duties

    • Participate in team meetings and coordination sessions.
    • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Project Coordinator or MEAL Specialist.
    • Demonstrate strong time management, accountability, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field.
    • 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in the education, social, NGO, or development sector.
    • Strong interest in youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and community development.
    • Good understanding of the local ecosystem (education institutions, NGOs, community centers).
    • Experience or strong interest in Monitoring & Evaluation and data collection.
    • Excellent organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
    • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
    • Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural and socio-economic groups.
