With the support of the Irish Aid fund and in partnership with Trocaire, RDFL is implementing a project titled empowering Women and Girls: Nurturing Resilience Through Psychosocial Support, Accountability, and Capacity Building for Sustainable Humanitarian Response in Bekaa.
1.To achieve this overall objective, the project will implement activities under three main goals:
- GOAL 1: Women, men, adolescent girls and adolescent boys including GBV survivors use GBV specialized interventions and psychosocial support to meet their needs and preferences
- GOAL 2: Communities and people affected by crisis can hold Trocaire and local partners accountable against our commitments for an inclusive, dignified, and safe response.
- GOAL 3: Partners actively implement approaches to strengthen their capacity over time, with Trocaire support.
Based on the above, RDFL is looking for a psychotherapist to provide staff care sessions in Bekaa center.
2. Expected deliverable timeline:
1 group session and 5 individual sessions each month for 12 months
3. Responsibilities:
1- The psychotherapist is responsible for conducting one group self-care session for the protection staff working under ICSP project.
2- The psychotherapist is responsible for conducting 1 individual session for each member of staff of 5 members and one group staff session every month.
3- The candidate will report directly to the project manager.
4- The candidate is responsible for advising the Project Manager, as necessary, or upon request, with the aim of improving the working atmosphere in their teams and resolving problems of a work-related or personal nature that adversely affect job performance and productivity.
5- Monitors environmental factors that could lead to stress, with particular focus on stress related to critical incidents including emergency and crisis situations.
6- Submit a monthly report for the project Manager
4. Trainer qualifications :
- An Advanced University Degree (master’s or equivalent) in clinical Psychology.
5. Professional Competencies:
- A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional experience is required.
- Experience in Employees Assistance Program or Organizational Intervention would be an asset;
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, outlook)
- Excellent Analytical and reporting skills
