Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities
Design & Creative Support
- Design visual materials including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, reports, presentations, and social media graphics.
- Support the design of campaign and awareness materials in line with organizational messaging.
- Adapt and format materials for print and digital use.
Branding & Compliance
- Ensure all designs comply with CVC Charity’s branding and visibility guidelines.
- Apply donor branding and visibility requirements accurately (logos, disclaimers, layouts).
- Maintain consistency across all communication materials.
Coordination & Revisions
- Coordinate with the Media Coordinator to understand design briefs, timelines, and expectations.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely and professional manner.
- Deliver final products in agreed formats and resolutions.
Safeguarding & Ethical Communication
- Ensure designs respect dignity, privacy, and cultural sensitivity of beneficiaries.
- Avoid any content that may expose or harm children or vulnerable persons.
- Comply with CVC Charity’s Safeguarding, PSEA, Child Protection, and Data Protection policies.
Deliverables & Reporting
- Submit completed designs according to agreed deadlines.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in graphic design (NGO or humanitarian experience is an asset).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant design work.
Required Skills & Competencies
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent).
• Strong creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and responsiveness.
Ethical Standards & Code of Conduct
The Freelance Graphic Designer must adhere to CVC Charity’s Code of Conduct, Safeguarding, and Confidentiality requirements. Any breach may result in termination of the contract.
