Invitation to bid #Reh002 – Maintenance of Karantina Garden in Beirut, Lebanon

1- NAHNOO Organization Overview

NAHNOO is a research, capacity building and advocacy platform for participatory public policy-making, working towards an inclusive society in Lebanon. Their focus mainly revolves around three main areas of intervention: Public Spaces, Good Governance and Arts & Cultural Heritage.
 

2- Operational Objective

NAHNOO is seeking a qualified contracting company to undertake the maintenance of 1 public garden in Karantina, Beirut, Lebanon.

3- Scope of Work

The project will target the maintenance of 1 public garden, in Karantina, Beirut, Lebanon.

Location coordinates: 33°54’05.0”N 35°31’49.4”E

4- Submission Guideline

All Bidders are required to send the below requirements to the following email address job@NAHNOO.org copying giulia.galli@catalyticaction.org with the subject “Maintenance of Karantina Garden in Beirut, Lebanon”:

• Quotation (signed & stamped).
• Official documents "Certificate of the registration in the ministry of finance”.
• The TOR “Terms of Reference” (signed & stamped).
• Company profile.
• Bank account details.
• Supporting documents proving a minimum of 5 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Statement of Satisfactory Performance or contact details from the Top Two Clients obtained in the past three years.
• Relevant experience in executing public spaces (at least has executed 3 projects).
• Availability of a site civil engineer with 5 years of experience to follow up on all construction works (copy of CV is required to be submitted within the offer).
• Deadline for Submission of offers is 10 February 2026.
• Letter of commitment to begin implementation works no later than 17 February 2026.
• Clear and detailed work timeline submitted using Gantt chart model.

   

5- Payment Terms

• 20% upon receiving a detailed work plan with timeline (Gantt chart), the safety procedure to be followed on site and completion of 20% of works (as per the approved work plan and upon validation from NAHNOO through CA).
• 40% upon completion of 60% of works (as per the approved work plan and upon validation from NAHNOO through CA).
• 40% upon completion of all works (as per the approved work plan and upon validation from NAHNOO through CA).

The Contractor shall be paid based on the BoQ and offer presented.

6- Payment Methods

• Bank cheque or bank transfer.
• Bank fees will be charged to the supplier.

• You can submit your inquiries to procurement@NAHNOO.org copying giulia.galli@catalyticaction.org. The deadline for submitting inquiries is Monday, 2 February, 2026.
• Interested bidders are encouraged to visit the site on their own prior to submitting their offers.

   

8- Timeline for Work Execution

The overall execution time frame for the whole project is spread over a period of 2 months, starting from contract signature date.

10- Notes

• Kindly note that the quotation will be automatically rejected if:

• The quotation is received after the deadline
• Adjustments are made to the specifications mentioned in the attached BoQ
• Calculation error in quotation
• The applicant does not provide documentary evidence of its status as an eligible & qualified contractor.

• NAHNOO reserves the right to amend the quantities in the BoQ between the tender stage and the contract award, while maintaining the unit costs.
