Main Tasks:

  • Handle the daily follow up and supervision of project activities on the field, as well as track the progress of the activities and provide timely feedback;
  • facilitate the organization of local inclusive committee;
  • Oversee the identification and implementation of several trainings for the committee to developing their capacity building;
  • Coordinate the data collection process to be conducted by the committee to identify the needs and assets regarding the livelihood sector of their community, especially the most vulnerable groups;
  • Facilitate a  workshop with the committee to analyze the data collected and develop a “diagnosis study” document that reflects the needs and priorities identified by the committee related to the livelihood sector in their area;
  • Support in organizing stakeholders visits by the members of the established committee within the area to advocate for the identified needs and priorities;
  • Develop the needed tools/ procedures to advocate for their priorities and adequate channels to follow up;
  • Support the committee in developing the referral list with the market sector (entities) and in matching the beneficiaries with the identified local entities, thus creating job opportunities/ income generation for the beneficiaries;
  • In coordination with the PM, set up and monitor the project implementation;
  • In coordination with the Admin & Log Department, prepare procurement dossiers, conduct market analysis and identify project potential providers;
  • identify project technical and programmatic needs and challenges and propose solutions;
  • Support the PM in preparing monthly budget forecast by informing about activities expected costs;
  • Document and report any bottlenecks or challenges faced during the project, including lessons learned;
  • Prepare written reports based on results from qualitative investigations; and feedback and analysis on progress of program implementation and piloting and fielding of survey instruments

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project activities.
  • Support the head of center and Admin in proper documentation of attendance records, training completion forms, and logistical arrangements.
  • Collect and organize supporting documents for project audits and reports.

Coordination:

  • Work closely with the Head of the Community Center to ensure smooth execution of activities.
  • Support coordination efforts with community stakeholders to enhance project reach and impact.
  •  Assist the admin in ensuring compliance with project guidelines and logistical needs.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit detailed weekly and monthly reports to the Head of Center
  • Document challenges, successes, and recommendations for project improvements
  • Provide insights on field progress to aid decision-making and strategic planning.

​​​​​​​Qualification

Education:

University degree in Sociology/ economic development/ political sciences or any related fields.

​​​​​​​Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience in women-focused projects, community development, or humanitarian.

Prior experience working with NGOs or community-based organizations is preferred.

Experience in networking with local stakeholders and coordinating field activities.

Technical competence:

  • Strong knowledge of field data collection and documentation practices.
  • Ability to conduct field assessments and provide technical support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in cash-for-work programs or livelihood support is an asset.
