AN-ITB-LB-2024-13| Supply of Agriculture tools to farmers in Akkar

 

    • Purpose of project Implementation

 

This initiative targets groups of farmers in Akkar with access to limited production capacities, and involves equipping them with the knowledge, resources, and tools needed for successful production. The procurement and delivery of the requested tools will significantly benefit the targeted farmers  by enhancing their production capacities, and therefore, covering the food security, reducing dependency on market purchased food, and generating potential income through enhanced production.

 

    • Location of the distribution sites for the supplied tools

The supplier shall deliver the tools to the below areas in Akkar in coordination with arche nova team. The exact delivery points within the identified locations will be shared with the selected bidder.

The areas are:

  • Tal Hayat (or surrounding area)_Akkar
  • El Abdeh (or surrounding area)_Akkar
  •  El Bireh (or surrounding area)_Akkar
  • Deir Dalloum (or surrounding area)_Akkar

 

 

The project involves the procurement, delivery, and commissioning (when applicable) of the provided tools in the identified locations.

The overall objective is to:

  • Improve production capacities;
  • Enhance productivity; and
  • Strengthen the resilience of targeted groups.

Clarifications

Any request for clarification must be submitted by email to Lebanon.procurement@arche-nova.org or Lebanon.procurementassistant@arche-nova.org no later than 5 days before the deadline for submission of tenders. All responses to clarifications will be communicated to bidders at least 3 days before the deadline for submission of tenders.

Bidders shall apply to provide the tools and items to the above-mentioned locations.

  1. Questions and Clarifications

If arche nova, either on its own initiative or in response to a request from a prospective bidder, provides additional information on the tender dossier, such information will be communicated simultaneously and in writing to all bidders.

Bidders may submit questions in writing to the following address up to 3 days before the deadline for submission of tenders, specifying the publication reference and the Tender title:

Any prospective tenderer seeking to arrange individual meetings with any arche nova staff during the tender period may be excluded from the tender procedure.

7.1 Response Format

The tender shall consist of original paper copies placed in a sealed, non-identifiable envelope Labelled only Tender Reference:

[AN-ITB-LB-2024-13] – “Supply of Agriculture tools to farmers in Akkar”

This envelope will be containing two separate sealed, stamped and/or signed envelopes:

  1. Technical Proposal: Include all required documents related to technical qualifications and experience, clearly labeled "Technical Proposal."
  2. Financial Proposal: Include the financial offer “Price BoQ” only, clearly labeled "Financial Proposal."

7.2 Delivery Instructions

The complete offer must be delivered via private courier service or personal delivery to the following address no later than:

Mandatory Submission Documents

No offer will be accepted without the submission of the following mandatory documents:

  1. Proof of Company Registration in Lebanon
  2. Tax Compliance Certificate (VAT)
  3. Ministry of Finance Registration (MOF)
