About Dawaer Foundation
Founded in 2015, Dawaer Foundation is a Lebanese non-governmental, non-profit, and non-partisan organization dedicated to building a peaceful, inclusive, and resilient society. Dawaer works closely with children, youth, educators, media professionals, and local communities across Lebanon to strengthen social cohesion, promote media literacy, support mental health and protection, and empower young people to become active agents of positive change.
Through participatory and community-driven approaches, Dawaer designs and implements programs in peacebuilding, youth leadership, media and information literacy, and protection and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Coordination
Coordinate the implementation of Dawaer’s projects and activities, particularly those related to media, ensuring timely and quality delivery
Oversee budget expenditures
Develop work plans, schedules, and oversee logistics for trainings, events, and field activities
Support teams, trainers, and partners during execution and provide on-ground follow-up when needed
Liaise and maintain relationships with youth, communities, local partners, institutions, and donors
Monitor progress, track indicators, and prepare narrative and internal reports with proper documentation
Contribute to proposal writing, concept notes, budgets, and donor reporting
Support project design, fundraising efforts, and overall program development
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, communications, media, public administration, development studies, or related field
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or program management
Experience working with NGOs or community-based initiatives
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
