Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.
The ScaleSmart program aims to support pre-seed or seed startups working in different sectors to scale up by equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to plan a solid fundraising path, matching them with investors and investment opportunities, and improving their chances of successfully raising funds.
Scope of workThe ScaleSmart program seeks a Growth Hacking and marketing Consultant to advise a maximum of 4 startups on their Growth strategy. The engagement includes 1 Half Day Workshop a minimum of 2 one-on-one sessions with each startup for tailored guidance over the duration of 2 months to support the following:
- Defining growth hacking, its relevance at a technology startup, and the data-driven scientific mindset behind optimizing marketing and product metrics
- Explaining customer journeys through the lens of the AARRR (Awareness, Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue) framework and discuss strategies for optimizing the path to purchase
- Helping startups identify relevant KPIs/metrics and visualize data effectively across their revenue funnel using data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
- Applying other growth frameworks like network effects, data-driven segmentations, A/B testing, and the Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) methodology for actionable product-led growth planning.
- Deep diving into every startup’s growth strategy (customer acquisition, retention strategies, and referral strategies) and give recommendations to meet each startup’s specific challenges.
- Help startups identify tools that will help them scale.
- Assisting startup participants with setting up growth analytics and KPI dashboards during the clinic sessions
Consultant’s Deliverables
- Deliver a half Day Workshop (5 Hours) on Growth Hacking and Scaling and a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 one-on-one clinics per startup to help them grow their business and keep track of metrics. Whereby, each clinic is at least 1 hour or 60 minutes.
- Conduct preparatory meetings with the Berytech Team to align the content of the workshop as well as the approaches and responsibilities under this agreement.
- Submit a detailed written report on every startup’s progress throughout the mentoring and conduct meetings with the Berytech team for verbal feedback.
- Provide comprehensive content and materials that can be used by the entrepreneurs during the workshop and the clinics. These materials will include detailed templates, readings for the startup to research and understand the topic more, suggested links and sources on the topic...etc. All these materials should be uploaded in coordination with the Berytech team to make them accessible for the startups.
Startups’ Deliverables
After the module, the startups should have:
- A refined marketing and growth strategy that clearly defines target markets, channels, and key growth levers to support sustainable business expansion.
- A structured approach to improving market traction and visibility by strengthening customer acquisition, engagement, and brand awareness efforts.
- A stronger market positioning strategy that enhances the startup’s value proposition and credibility, particularly in preparation for fundraising and investor engagement.
- A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in growth with successful local or international startups
- Strong track record in growing startup organizations from different industries (Agri-Food, Sustainable Energy, Cleantech, etc)
- Scaleup experience is a plus
- Consulting, advisory, and training experience for similar programs at incubators/accelerators
- Availability to commit to the program timeline and deliverables
