JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for handling calls from pregnant women and providing follow-up until delivery.
MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive phone calls from the pregnant women asking for an assistance
• Collect information and data about beneficiaries
• Ask the beneficiaries to provide the documents
• Update the medical files with the information collected from the beneficiary
• Send the assessment and the medical report for the gynecologist in order to get the medical approval on the file
• Arrange referrals to the inpatient team
• Transfer received approvals for the inpatient team in order to inform the hospital about the hospitalization of the patient
• Refer the not eligible cases to the inpatient team in order to proceed with data entry as assigned
• Communicate in a professional manner reflecting the mission of Caritas Lebanon Inpatient unit and demonstrate compliance with all policies and procedures
• Respond to the phone calls 24/7 from 08:00 am till 20:00 pm including Saturday and Sunday.
• Follow Caritas Lebanon operational policy and procedures
• Respect the internal policies and procedures for example: dress code, attendance, discipline, etc.
• Complete schedules, activity planners, monitor staff availability and act against any shortfalls
• Resolve any staff issues and escalate any unresolved issue to the related manager
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
• Academic: Midwife or health background
• Communication, writing, analytical and negotiation skills
• Related Work Experience: 3 years of experience in related field
• Language skills: English and Arabic
• Computer Literacy: MS-Word / MS-Excel – Intermediate level
