Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Lebanon is seeking a qualified Climate Change Expert to provide technical support, expert feedback, and evaluation for youth participants developing innovative, climate-related ideas under the GIL 2025 project.
The attached TOR (Ref: PR 641) outlines the engagement of the Climate Change Expert to provide critical technical oversight and mentorship for youth-led environmental initiatives under the GIL 2025 project. The primary objective of the role is to support youth participants in refining their innovative climate-related ideas by identifying technical gaps, strengthening potential environmental impacts, and ensuring the long-term feasibility and scalability of their solutions. In addition to providing direct mentorship and gap analysis, the consultant serves as a specialized member of the pitching and evaluation committee, utilizing their expertise to objectively score and select projects with the highest potential for driving sustainable climate action.
