Speech Therapist Volunteer

General Tasks

  • Assess and understand the concerns of parents during the initial meeting.
  • Identify and analyze the difficulties of the patient.
  • Develop an accurate diagnosis.
  • Design and implement the most effective weekly and monthly intervention plan, including evaluations for the rehabilitation.
  • Establish a relationship of trust with both the patient and the parents to encourage active participation in the rehabilitation process.
  • Ensure ongoing communication with parents, providing guidance and recommendations as needed.
  • Maintain and update patient records, including progress reports on the disorder.
  • Prepare an annual report for each beneficiary.
  • Provide daily feedback and updates to the supervisor.
  • Report any situations or conditions that may present a danger to the team or the organization.

Position Requirements

  • Level of education: Bachelor’s Degree in speech therapy in addition to the Professional Practice Permit and related documents.

  • Years of experience: 2 to 3 years of experience

  • Workplace : Therapy Clinic at Jisr El Wati Center.

  • Working Schedule : 1-2 days per week, usually after noon.
