RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Support & Troubleshooting
· Assist in monitoring network connectivity and performance
· Troubleshoot basic network and internet issues
· Support resolution of connectivity incidents at head office and medical centers
· Escalate complex network issues to senior IT staff or external vendors
Equipment & Basic Maintenance
· Assist in installing and replacing network equipment (switches, routers, access points)
· Assist in installing and replacing network printers, photocopiers and scanners
· Perform basic configuration tasks following predefined standards
· Ensure network equipment is properly labeled and documented
· Support routine checks and maintenance activities
Medical Centers & Remote Sites Support
· Provide on-site or remote assistance to medical centers and laboratories
· Support secure connectivity between centers and central systems
· Coordinate with service providers under IT Manager guidance
· Help minimize service interruptions affecting daily operations
User & Helpdesk Support
· Handle network-related user support requests
· Assist staff with connectivity, VPN access, and basic network usage issues
· Assist with windows, office 365 usage issues
· Record incidents and actions taken in the helpdesk system
· Follow escalation procedures when required
Security Support (Assistance Level)
· Apply security settings as instructed by senior IT staff
· Assist in managing user access and VPN accounts
· Report suspected security incidents immediately
· Follow data protection and confidentiality guidelines
Documentation & Reporting
· Maintain basic documentation (network diagrams, device lists)
· Update logs related to incidents and maintenance
· Report recurring issues to the IT Manager and Systems and Networking Specialist
· Support audit requests by providing technical information when requested
· Perform any other related duties assigned by the IT Manager and the Head of Finance and IT
QUALIFICATIONS
· Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or related field
· 1–3 years of experience in IT or network support
· Basic knowledge of:
· LAN/WAN concepts
· Wi-Fi and internet connectivity
· Windows environments
· Office 365
· Willingness to learn and follow established procedures
· Fluency in Arabic and English are a must. French is a plus
· Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Ability to follow instructions and documented procedures
· Clear communication and teamwork
· Service-oriented mindset
· Respect for confidentiality and data protection rules
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Good communication skills
· Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
