Emergency Response Volunteer

Main Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  • Screen and evaluate cases to identify individuals and families in need within Beirut, Mount Lebanon and the South emergency response areas.
  • Carry out field visits to monitor, verify, and support selected beneficiaries.
  • Support the planning and implementation of food and non-food item distributions.
  • Compile, organize, and input beneficiary data accurately through using Excel and other data management systems efficiently to maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct assessments and follow-up calls to obtain and verify essential information.
  • Remain adaptable and responsive while working in fast-paced emergency environments.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Strong planning and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse communities.
  • Comfortable working independently in the field as well as collaborating remotely with a team.
  • Practical experience in data collection, data entry, and maintaining organized records using Excel and related digital tools.
  • Skilled in conducting structured phone calls and interviews to obtain accurate information.
  • Able to remain composed and productive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, reliability, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
