Training Facilitator – North Area

Background:

RMF is implementing the project “Future-Ready: Digital Skills & Careers for Youth in Lebanon”, funded by the Kingdom of the Netherlands through the International Labour Organization (ILO) under the PROSPECTS programme in partnership with CIS College and PFC International.

The project aims to enhance youth employability through market-driven technical and core skills training, complemented by on-the-job training (OJT) opportunities. It focuses on strengthening workforce readiness, improving practical competencies, and facilitating access to labor market opportunities through structured training pathways and active employer engagement.

The project targets 1,000 beneficiaries across North Lebanon and Greater Beirut, with an emphasis on inclusive participation and alignment with labor market needs to support youth in transitioning into decent and sustainable employment.

Purpose:

The Training Facilitator will be based in the North Area, with regular field presence in training and OJT locations. S/he will report directly to the Project Manager and work closely with RMF’s project team, trainers, and partner institutions.

The Training Facilitator is responsible for the day-to-day field implementation of project activities, ensuring smooth delivery of trainings, assessments, and on-the-job training while maintaining close coordination with beneficiaries, trainers, and local partners.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Field Implementation & Coordination

Support and actively participate in the on-site implementation of project activities in targeted areas.

Coordinate logistics for trainings, assessments, and OJT placements, including venues, schedules, attendance, and materials.

Ensure timely and accurate execution of activities in line with approved work plans and implementation schedules.

Monitor field activities and propose adjustments as needed, reporting any required changes to the Project Manager.

2. Beneficiary Outreach & Follow-up

Support outreach activities and beneficiary mobilization in coordination with the Project Manager.

Assist in application screening, data collection, beneficiary verification, and follow-up.

Maintain regular communication with beneficiaries to ensure participation, retention, and adherence to project requirements.

3. Training & On-the-Job Training (OJT) Support

Coordinate with trainers and Training service provider during technical and core skills training.

Monitor beneficiary attendance, engagement, and commitment throughout training cycles.

Support the organization, follow-up, and monitoring of 20-day OJT placements.

Act as a focal point between beneficiaries, employers, and RMF during OJT implementation.

4. Stakeholder & Local Coordination

Maintain regular contact and coordination with local partners in targeted areas.

Liaise with other organizations and stakeholders as needed to support project implementation.

Support relationship-building efforts at field level in coordination with the Project Manager.

5. Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting

Collect and compile field-level data, attendance sheets, assessments, and feedback forms.

Assist in collecting all required data for monitoring and reporting purposes.

Contribute to monthly activity reports and provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and lessons learned.

Identify, document, and report success stories from the field.

6. Safeguarding & Compliance

Ensure adherence to RMF safeguarding, PSEA, and child protection policies.

Promote safe, inclusive, and gender-sensitive participation at field level.

Report any incidents, complaints, or risks promptly through established RMF mechanisms.

Qualifications & Professional Skills:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Social Sciences, or related disciplines).

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience working with NGOs in a relevant field position

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent command of Arabic and English; French is an asset.

Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with youth, trainers, employers, and community stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to organize, monitor, and report on field activities with accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the capacity to identify challenges and propose practical solutions in dynamic field environments.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Energetic, proactive, and able to work under field pressure.
