Design Thinking and Business Development Trainer

The Nawaya Network is an NGO based in Beirut, Lebanon that develops the income-generating opportunities of youth through entrepreneurship, employability, and economic development programs.

We are seeking a Design Thinking and Business Development Trainer to fulfill the below tasks and responsibilities:

 - Plans effectively and efficiently each session's objectives, designs the flow of the course, chooses interactive methods, tests output and evaluates the course's objectives and learning outcomes with the Field Manager's oversight.- Submits all financial and legal documents as requested by the Field Manager for a proper payment mechanism with the Finance Manager's oversight and Top Management approval.- Manages and assesses youth/trainee progress and provides feedback regarding areas of improvement and development.- Tracks and compiles training data, including exit forms, attendance sheets and DT / BD scoresheets with the field officers' oversight.- Attends the ToT for the training material development. - Maintains an up-to-date and accurate record of youth progress and achievements on the DT and BD training sessions.- Ensures the safety of participants by supervising and using safe methods at all times as communicated by the Nawaya Networks rules and regulations.- Appreciates the youth/team efforts and interaction/engagement, and considers the well-being and progress of the participants.- Reports violations observed towards beneficiaries through the Nawaya Network employee's channel and makes sure it is reported to the Field Manager, who will immediately inform Top Management.- Implements any additional tasks as communicated by Top Management.  Education: - Bachelor's/Master's in Business Degree, Management Degree and Social Science Degree.  Experience: - Minimum 3 years of working experience in preparing and conducting Training.

- He/she has a demonstrable understanding of Design Thinking and/or Business Development Training Material
- Work experience in an NGO is a plus. 

 Competences: - Ability to work with diverse community groups.
- Experience in developing design thinking and business development training materials.
- Ability to conduct training around design thinking and business development.
- Possesses a strong Business ability and acumen.
- Possesses a strong self-discipline and advanced organisational behaviour approach
- Ability to deal eloquently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders,
- Ability to have a process and result-oriented mind Skills: - Communication Skills and Emotional Intelligence.- Business Development Mindset and/or Creative Design Thinking Mindset. - Analytical Thinking- System skills (software data entry)- Creativity and Innovation Skills- Organisational Management Skills- Time Management 

 

Working Hours: 
  • 3 hours for an In-Person Training for a total of 5 days for the DESIGN THINKING Training.
  • 3 hours for an In-Person Training for a total of 6 days  for the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Training ( Including Graduation)
