Contribute to the development of organization, area, and program strategies; and initiate and participate in the development of relevant education, FSL and protection projects.
Coordinate and manage FSL and protection project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies, and donor and partner requirements.
A line manager manages all related FSL and protection program staff, including capacity and skills building.
Implement technical direction and ensure high technical quality of projects.
Ensure that the projects target beneficiaries who are most in need of protection, explore, and assess new and better ways to assist.
Develop and manage project budgets and coordinate across the other programs.
Oversee and be responsible for mainstreaming protection guidelines in Nabad's related activities as per Nabad's protection mainstreaming guidelines, and ensure that all breaches/concerns identified and reported are properly resolved.
Ensure the quality of protection interventions (CP/GBV and legal), and the coherence between all activities particularly FSL and basic assistance, ongoing and proposed, according to the overall strategy and coordinate the day-to-day implementation of protection related activities across relevant projects.
Receive the referral information related to protection cases, basic assistance and FSL on a monthly basis from the relevant focal points and take proper actions to ensure that the referral system is functioning in the best interest of beneficiaries as per the interagency referral's procedures.
Assess trends and changes in the context and assess the needs of children and youth.
Monitor and evaluate ongoing and completed FSL and protection projects.
Develop and follow up on detailed project work plans, procurement plans, spending plans, M&E plans, and recruitment plans for all FSL and protection-related activities.
Liaise with local authorities, such as municipalities and MOSA on Nabad FSL and protection entities.
Conduct regular spot-checks and monitoring visits to Nabad centers to check follow-up and monitor the quality of the activities, as well as to ensure the execution of the SOPs and the sectors’ standards for the FSL and the basic assistance services.
Report on a monthly basis to the head of programs and finance manager on implementation progress and challenges and on budget expenditure in FSL and protection programming.
Represent Nabad in internal and external forums, such as protection working groups, FSL, and basic assistance sectors’ meetings and authorities such as local ministries and relevant municipalities.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience from working in protection/FSL field in a humanitarian/recovery context
