The Social Worker is responsible for conducting field assessments, identifying vulnerable beneficiaries, and ensuring that humanitarian assistance reaches those most in need. The role includes conducting household visits, verifying beneficiaries, and preparing accurate documentation to support program implementation and donor reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct household visits and field assessments to identify vulnerable beneficiaries.
• Collect and accurately record beneficiary data using approved assessment tools.
• Assign vulnerability scores based on established humanitarian criteria.
• Prepare case reports and maintain proper beneficiary documentation.
• Coordinate with project management and field teams to ensure proper distribution of assistance.
• Support monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities.
• Prepare field reports to support donor reporting requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with beneficiaries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in social or humanitarian work.
• Previous experience working with vulnerable communities is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct interviews and collect accurate data.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and in field conditions.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
