Creative Producer Service Provider

Purpose / Role
Create several communications materials that highlight CARE-ECHO activities and impact in Lebanon. Use compelling videos, photos, imagery, graphics, and layouts to visually represent the impact of the activities. Ensure the materials are adaptable across various platforms.

Expected Key Outputs 
• Six short documentaries (3-6 minutes per documentary): Cinematic-quality, character-driven documentaries highlighting beneficiaries and social workers, filmed in their natural living environments and filmed during distributions. Each documentary will be filmed over 2–3 days of shooting.
• Five 90 seconds versions of the short documentaries. 
• Five trailers for the five short documentaries.
• Ten campaign videos, featuring one celebrity with broad reach among general audiences in Lebanon. 
• Ten teasers for the ten campaign videos. 
• Four podcast episodes, each episode 5 to 15 minutes. 
• 200 high-quality photographs, including portraits, candid shots of beneficiaries in motion, distributions and landscape photography.
• Four written reports, each 5–10 pages in length, with graphs, infographics, animated visuals. 
• 30 social media posts, with interesting designs, creative and compelling with infographics. 
• Edit a 25 minutes theater performance into one 4 minutes video and one 90 seconds video. 

Responsibilities and Tasks

Content Production & Review
• Produce high-quality and cinematic documentaries, trailers, campaign videos, podcasts, and photography with cinematic, storytelling quality, aligned with current trends and designed to maximize audience engagement and virality.
• Prepare 8–10 drafts of review for each video, documentary, and trailer to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with objectives.
• Capture beneficiaries, social workers, and communities in their natural environments while respecting dignity and privacy.

Branding & Visual Identity
• Ensure all materials adhere to CARE’s branding guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity across digital, print, and audio platforms.
• Provide creative direction to enhance storytelling, visual representation, and engagement of CARE initiatives.
• Design professional layouts for reports, social media posts, and campaign materials using strategic typography, color palettes, and imagery.

Collaboration & Coordination
• Work closely with CARE’s communications team, project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to gather content, insights, and success stories.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and 1–2 celebrities to amplify campaign reach and engagement.
• Coordinate with media platforms and journalists to ensure consistent and accurate messaging.

Adaptation & Quality Assurance
• Refine and adapt materials based on internal feedback to ensure clarity, accessibility, and maximum impact.
• Ensure all visual and audio outputs are optimized for various formats, including digital, social media, and broadcast.
• Maintain an organized archive of all design files, audiovisual materials, and reports for accessibility, consistency, and future updates.

Support for Advocacy & Fundraising
• Develop visual and storytelling materials that support advocacy, fundraising, and donor engagement efforts.
• Ensure that content highlights CARE’s impact, beneficiary experiences, and project objectives effectively.

Professional Development & Innovation
• Stay updated with cinematic, audio, photography, and digital design trends to maintain innovative and impactful materials.
• Apply prior experience with CARE and ECHO guidelines to ensure materials meet organizational standards and donor expectations.

Selection Criteria

Core Competencies:
• Demonstrate creativity in developing compelling designs that visually communicate complex ideas, particularly in the context of humanitarian work.
• Experience developing and producing cinematic documentaries.
• Experience working with celebrities and producing high-profile campaigns with high reach on social media platforms, recognized by Lebanese and international media outlets. 
• Prior experience working with CARE International in Lebanon.
• Prior experience on projects, documentaries, videos and other written and visual materials funded by ECHO.
• Prior experience producing communications materials that leverage influencers, go viral, and achieve high impact on social media platforms.
• Experience filming with individuals from extremely vulnerable backgrounds.
• Experience producing documentaries, videos, photos, and written materials while protecting beneficiaries' identities by not revealing their faces, yet maintaining a very strong visual style.
• Experience and familiarity with ECHO communications guidelines. 
• Previously developed and produced critically acclaimed documentaries, recognized by international media platforms, film festivals and critics. 
• Understanding and respecting cultural nuances and sensitivities, ensuring that designs and visual elements are appropriate and sensitive to the diverse communities being represented.
• Ability to work closely with field teams, local partners, and stakeholders, fostering positive relationships to ensure smooth coordination and the successful execution of design projects.
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring that designs are technically precise, aesthetically appealing, and effectively communicate the intended message.
• Expertise in maintaining consistency with organizational branding, ensuring that all visual elements align with CARE’s mission and values.
• Ability to adapt designs for various platforms, ensuring that visual content is optimized for print, digital, and social media channels.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
• Committed to following ethical guidelines in design, ensuring all visual content is produced with respect for individuals' dignity and privacy.
• Expertise in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and a solid understanding of print and digital production processes to produce professional-level work.

Required Technical Competencies:
• Strong proficiency in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with the ability to create high-quality visuals for various formats.
• Expertise in using different cameras and equipment necessary to produce these documentaries. 
• Knowledge of digital production processes, ensuring documentaries are optimized for various platforms. 
• Experience with image management systems and file organization to ensure that visual assets are properly archived, tagged, and easily accessible for future use.
• Familiarity with the latest design trends and tools, ensuring that designs are modern, innovative, and aligned with industry standards.
• Understanding of responsive design, ensuring that visuals are adaptable and optimized for different screen sizes and devices.
• Strong understanding of filmmaking and storytelling, ensuring consistency across all visual materials and alignment with organizational guidelines.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices, ensuring that designs are inclusive and accessible to all audiences.

This Request for Proposal represents the requirements for an open and competitive process.  

Proposals will be accepted until 5:00 PM (Beirut Time) [March 26, 2026], delivered via email solely to (procurement@careliban.org ), no later than the above-specified date.

Any proposals received after this date and time will not be accepted.  All proposals must be signed by an official agent or representative of the company submitting the proposal.

If the organization submitting a proposal must outsource or contract any work to meet the requirements contained herein, this must be clearly stated in the proposal.  Additionally, all costs included in proposals must be all-inclusive to include any outsourced or contracted work.  Any proposals which call for outsourcing or contracting work must include a name and description of the organizations being contracted.  

All costs must be itemized to include an explanation of all fees and costs.  

Contract terms and conditions will be negotiated upon selection of the winning candidate for this RFP.  All contractual terms and conditions will be subject to review by the CARE legal department, and will include scope, budget, schedule, and other necessary items pertaining to the project.

You must respond to every subsection including statement, question, and/or instruction without exception.

Any verbal information obtained from, or statements made by representatives of CARE shall not be construed as in any way amending this RFP.  Only such corrections or addenda as are issued in writing by CARE to all RFP participants shall be official.  CARE will not be responsible for verbal instructions.
