Location:

North Lebanon (Akkar, Tripoli), Beirut, Bekaa

Duration:

4 months (April – August 2026)

Contract Type:

Short-term contract

Salary:

1,400 EUR/month (gross)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct systematic community outreach and maintain regular engagement with beneficiaries, shelter committees, and local stakeholders to ensure accurate understanding of needs and priorities
  • Support the identification, registration, and verification of beneficiaries in line with agreed vulnerability criteria and targeting methodologies
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of distributions, ensuring adherence to SOPs, dignity, safety, and crowd management protocols
  • Facilitate clear communication with beneficiaries regarding assistance modalities, eligibility criteria, distribution schedules, and available services
  • Ensure inclusion and prioritization of vulnerable groups, including women, children, elderly, and persons with disabilities, during all stages of implementation
  • Support the implementation and promotion of Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) mechanisms, including Complaint and Response Mechanism (CRM)
  • Collect, verify, and report field-level data (beneficiary lists, attendance sheets, post-distribution observations) ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Identify and report protection concerns or risks observed in the field and refer cases through appropriate channels

Deliverables:

  • Verified and validated beneficiary lists aligned with targeting criteria and approved by project team
  • Daily and weekly field activity reports documenting outreach, distributions, and key observations
  • Complete and accurate distribution attendance sheets and beneficiary records
  • CRM awareness sessions conducted and documented across target locations
  • Field monitoring reports highlighting challenges, risks, and recommendations
  • Documentation of vulnerable cases identified and referred (where applicable)

KPIs:

  • ≥95% accuracy rate in beneficiary identification and registration
  • % of distributions supported without operational incident or delay
  • % of vulnerable beneficiaries effectively reached and prioritized
  • # of CRM awareness sessions conducted and % of beneficiaries informed
  • Timeliness and completeness of reporting (100% submission as per deadlines)
  • # of protection concerns identified and appropriately referred

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience in community engagement, humanitarian assistance, or field-based roles.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in community outreach, beneficiary engagement, or humanitarian field activities.
  • Previous experience in supporting distributions, beneficiary registration, or community-based activities is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) principles and Complaint and Response Mechanisms (CRM) is highly desirable.
  • Basic understanding of protection principles and ability to identify and refer protection concerns.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse communities.
  • Ability to work in field environments under pressure and adapt to changing operational contexts.
  • Basic reporting and data collection skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Fluency in Arabic required; knowledge of English is an asset.
