Programme
- Conduct WASH and shelter assessments in collective shelters and communities
- Identify urgent repair and rehabilitation needs (water systems, sanitation facilities, shelter conditions)
- Prepare technical designs, BoQs, and scopes of work for emergency interventions
- Ensure all designs and interventions comply with national standards and humanitarian guidelines
- Supervise contractors on-site and ensure quality of work and adherence to timelines
- Monitor progress of activities and ensure proper implementation
- Approve completed works prior to handover
- Ensure WASH services (water supply, sanitation facilities) meet minimum standards
- Coordinate water quality testing when required
- Support emergency response activities including rapid mobilization when needed
- Maintain regular coordination with municipalities, authorities, and relevant stakeholders
- Ensure community engagement and feedback during implementation
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager
Reporting
- Maintain regular communication with line manager and stakeholders
- Provide periodic reports on assessments, implementation progress, and key indicators
- Document assessment findings and intervention outcomes
- Contribute to internal and donor reporting
Logistics & other operational departments
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely delivery of materials and services
- Prepare and follow up on Purchase Requests related to interventions
- Ensure materials used meet required technical specifications
- Coordinate movements for field activities and site visits
- Maintain strong coordination with municipalities, sectors, ministries, NGOs, and other stakeholders
- Ensure proper communication and approvals with local authorities before and during implementation
- Coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., MEL) for monitoring activities

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, mechanical, or Electrical engineering or Architecture, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute for degree)
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in WASH and/or Shelter interventions, preferably in emergency contexts
Experience in needs assessments, rehabilitation works, and contractor supervision
Previous experience working with NGOs or humanitarian organizations is an asset
