Researcher / Outreach Officer

  The Researcher/Outreach Officer is expected to:

• Identify and map all existing studies on GBV at the national level and assess their credibility. This includes studies conducted by ministries, public institutions, academia, civil society organizations, international organizations in Lebanon. Studies and research conducted by PhD candidates would also be an asset.
• Ensure that the studies are available in either soft or hard copy.
• Submit an inception report on the methodology that will be followed for the desk review.
• Submit a spreadsheet of all credible studies available in Lebanon on GBV in Arabic and English. Key studies available in French would also be included.
• Submit a final report on the credible studies available, the examined trends and gaps in research, and a series of recommendations.
• Coordinate with project staff and consultants.

The following deliverables are expected of the Expert:

• An inception report on the methodology that will be followed for the desk review.
• A spreadsheet of all credible studies available in Lebanon on GBV in Arabic, English, and French. This annotated bibliography would be categorized per the different forms of GBV and would display the publication details of each study.
• A final report on the credible studies available, the criteria relied on in the selection, the examined trends and gaps in research, and a series of recommendations.
