Data Entry Assistant

Scope of Service

The data entry assistant will support multiple operational areas, including data entry, finance documentation, and basic storekeeping functions. This includes assisting field teams with beneficiary data management, supporting the finance unit with document filing and due diligence checks, and assisting in organizing and tracking stock and materials. Tasks may include supporting registrations and outreach activities, maintaining organized digital and physical records, checking completeness of partner documentation, assisting with inventory organization, and providing general administrative support as needed. The role is field- and office-based and will work closely with the field teams to support daily operations.

Key Deliverables
  • Accurate and timely entry and updating of beneficiary and activity data.
  • Organized and up-to-date filing of financial and administrative documents.
  • Verified and properly compiled partner documentation to support due diligence processes.
  • Maintained and updated stock records with support in physical inventory checks.
  • Proper organization of storage areas and documentation related to stock movement.
  • Regular support to field teams during registrations, outreach, and activity implementation.
  • Clear and accessible records to support monitoring, reporting, and internal coordination.
Reporting
  • Reporting to: Area Manager, Field Officers, and relevant Assistants, depending on the task assignment.
Qualifications and Competencies Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Certificate, vocational/craft certificate, or relevant license

  • Approximately 2 years of experience in a similar role

Competencies

  • Basic written English proficiency is required.
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and data entry platforms. Ideally, experience working on Commcare and powerbi platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and manage records efficiently.
  • High level of integrity and respect for data confidentiality.
