Job Purpose :

The Field Facilitators will support the field-level implementation of an integrated livelihoods and peacebuilding project in Tripoli. Working under the supervision of the Project Manager, they will assist in the delivery of vocational and soft skills training for 90 women and support activities targeting 10 Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).

Recognizing the fragile context of Tripoli, the Facilitators will contribute to ensuring that all project activities promote social cohesion. This includes supporting dialogue sessions and peacebuilding initiatives aimed at reducing social tensions and fostering inclusive community engagement. The Facilitators will act as the primary link between beneficiaries and the project team, ensuring effective participation, follow-up, and feedback collection.

Key Responsibilties :

Field Implementation & Beneficiary Support

  • Support the day-to-day implementation of vocational and soft skills training for 90 women
  • Assist in outreach, identification, and mobilization of women beneficiaries based on vulnerability and interest
  • Support the selection and engagement process of 10 MSEs
  • Ensure regular follow-up with beneficiaries to track attendance, engagement, and progress

Training & Activity Support

  • Coordinate with training institutes to ensure participants attend sessions as scheduled
  • Assist in organizing training sessions (logistics, attendance tracking, materials distribution)
  • Support the delivery of both theoretical and practical training components.
  • Monitor participation and flag any challenges to the Project Manager

Peacebuilding & Social Cohesion

  • Support the facilitation of dialogue sessions with women-led groups
  • Assist in organizing and implementing peacebuilding activities and community discussions
  • Promote inclusive participation and respectful dialogue among participants
  • Identify and report any social tensions or risks observed during field activities

Business Support & Follow-Up

  • Assist in collecting basic data for MSE assessments and follow-up
  • Support beneficiaries in understanding business development processes
  • Follow up with MSEs on participation in business support sessions
  • Assist in monitoring progress related to business development plans

Distribution & Logistics

  • Support the distribution of training kits to beneficiaries
  • Assist in administering transportation stipends based on attendance records
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of distributed items

Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate attendance sheets and beneficiary records
  • Collect feedback, success stories, and case studies from participants
  • Submit regular field updates and reports to the Project Manager
  • Support data collection for reporting and coordination with the advocacy team

Coordination & Communication

  • Act as a liaison between beneficiaries, community stakeholders, and the project team
  • Maintain regular communication with participants to ensure engagement and retention
  • Support coordination with local actors and community leaders when needed.

KPIs:

  • Number of beneficiaries effectively mobilized and retained in training programs
  • Attendance and participation rates in vocational training and dialogue sessions
  • Timely and accurate completion of attendance sheets and field reports
  • Level of beneficiary engagement and satisfaction
  • Effective support to peacebuilding and social cohesion activities
  • Timely identification and reporting of risks, tensions, or implementation challenges
  • Proper tracking and documentation of distributions (kits, stipends).

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in community-based or NGO work
  • Experience in facilitating trainings or working with vulnerable populations
  • Previous exposure to livelihoods, vocational training, or peacebuilding projects is an asset
