About this Role
We are seeking a dynamic Program Operations Assistant to suppport Bedayati’s program and relief efforts. The Assistant will report to Bedayati’s Culinary Manager and Finance Officer.
Key Responsibilities
The Program Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting Bedayati’s programmatic, administrative, logistical and outreach efforts. This includes support with outreach, procurement, M&E, accounting, and logistics.
Administrative Support:
- Support the timely implementation of program and emergency relief activities to facilitate the achievement of results and delivery of outputs and activities.
- Assist with data entry, data cleaning and maintaining organized and up-to-date program records.
- Support outreach efforts to reach vulnerable populations.
- Assist with routine data collection and entry to help track program progress against established targets.
- Gather content (photos/brief updates) from the field for social media and drafting basic program announcements.
- Perform any other program support tasks as required.
Financial Management & Compliance:
- Support data entry for project accounts, collaborating with the finance & accounting officer to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all financial activities.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including the organization and filing of all accounts.
- Monitor and maintain an accurate/traceable inventory asset listing for all Bedayati assets, with the support of the Kitchen Manager for Naya assets.
- Support the team in ensuring adherence of all activities to Bedayati financial, procurement, and administrative processes and regulations, whilst also ensuring compliance with respective donor rules and regulations.
- Support the procurement of relevant equipment/materials as required for program activities, following Bedayati procurement policies.
Required Education, Skills & Experience
- A university degree or equivalent in business, the social sciences or relevant field;
- 2 years of experience in similar roles,
- Strong IT and data analysis skills, with emphasis on Excel;
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently with supervision;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent written and oral Arabic and English skills.

This is a full-time position requiring an in-person presence on Bedayati premises during standard working hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
